Milo In Maine- brain-eating skeleton-free shirts!

MILO IN MAINE

These people make my favoritest t-shirt ever. It’s the one I always think about wearing, but keep saving for that special t-shirt occasion, which of course never comes up, because that’s ridiculous- t-shirts are made to be worn, and especially this one. It fits beautifully, and the stitched pattern on it is just interesting enough to make me feel special wearing it, without being as in-your-face as my old death metal rock t-shirts, which are pretty much the only other t-shirts I have, and usually contain images of people’s brains being eaten by skeleton-men who are clearly dead but still have hair for some reason. And appetites.

But I digress… Milo In Maine makes nice, comfortable organic shirts, and might be the only good thing to come out of Maine, ever, except maybe Ben and Jerry’s which I think is actually from Vermont or something.

Milo also makes incredibly soft scarves out of the same materials, with the same great stitching. Check them out if you're in the market for neckwear.

In other news, they're not the only great designer in Maine! brook there is a line of delightful women's clothing made from sustainable fabrics like bamboo and soy. There are great colors all over, and the lines are incredible.

Just south of us, near Boston, Project Transaction is hand screening t-shirts and tooling recycled leather goods into graphic art magic.

New England has tons going on! (:
