I think I’m going to write up one reusable shopping bag a week, until all the plastic bags just give up and crawl away. Luckily, there are a lot of awesome bags to choose from, and while pretty much any reusabale bag (that actually gets used) is gonna be better for the environment than a million individual un-reused plastic bags, some bags are better than others. For instance, these 100% organic and fair trade (and clever and cute) shoppers from a wee Scottish company called Showpony, are some of the coolest ones around, and are themselves kind and gentle to our precious environment (you know the one, with all the endangered species living in delicate habitats that can be destroyed by chemical waste? Yeah, that one.) Love it or lose it.
