Come Here, You Little Devidoll

DEVIDOLL

I've mentioned this eco-boutique before, but I don't like to go on about them, because they are in England, and I resent them for being so far away. However, I forgive them for their far awayness, because their stuff is so good and British girls need love, too. So, check it out- they have a ton of good stuff, all in one place (unfortunately that place is all the way in England, but like I said, I forgive them.) In fact, I hope to visit their store the next time I'm in England for a family reunion, so that when I'm forced to sit through another one of my cousin's plays, at least I can do so in the comfort of some organic jeans from Aoki.

Cuckoo for Coco's Shoppe

COCO’S SHOPPE

I love Coco’s Shoppe. I love coconuts too, but that’s irrelevant. This eco-friendly shop digs out sustainable fashion brands and even a few environmentally-friendly products from not-so eco-friendly brands, and brings them to you, the people, online. How convenient! How lovely! How eco! And fashiony! Check out this awesome eco-boutique and see what sustainable treasures it has to offer (think Stewart+Brown, Park Vogel, Bahar Shahpar, and Covet, just for starters).

OMG BTC Elements ISFR

BTC ELEMENTS

Oh my god, BTC (be the change) Elements is so f-ing rad! One of the first and best online eco-boutiques, they carry emerging designers dedicated to sustainable fashion. Designers such as: Earth & Sky, Eco-ga’nik, Stewart+Brown, Kelly B., Perfectly Imperfect… the list goes on. And their site is easy to navigate and their delivery is fast, so you can get your eco-on ASAP. They also have some things made just for them, so check them out.

Beklina Beckons

Beklina

Okay, it is once again time to feature one of the lovely eco-boutiques that are helping to bring green fashion to the people, so I present you with Beklina, an online eco-lux store carrying such oldies as Stewart+Brown, Prairie Underground, and EDUN, and newer hits such as Ashley Watson and Beau Soliel. This store rocks- in fact, if it weren't for this place, I'd be naked, because nary a day goes by that I don't have on something purchased from this store.

Oh, and I'd like to add that Beklina participates in carbon-free shipping, so your clothes with come to you carbon-balanced and guilt-free. Yay!

Shop Kaight

Kaight

Every once and a while, I'd like to offer mad props to those peeps out there who are helping to create a market for sustainable clothing and accessories with their eco-friendly boutiques and online stores. I'll start with Kaight, because I love them. Located in New York, this eco-boutique was opened by Kate McGregor in August of 2006 and carries a wide range of designer eco-friendly clothing and accessories. And their online shop is easy to navigate, which is saying something, because not all online shops make sense or really show you what you're getting.

By bringing the eco-fashion to the people through their online and real-life boutiques, people like Kate McGregor are making eco-friendly fashions viable for a broader market.

let's go shopping:
