Satuday Night(re)cap

THE WEEK IN GREEN

Instead of doing something useful like finding new stuff to write about so that no one ever has to go a day without learning something brilliant from my sweet-ass blog, I’ve decided to spend Saturday mornings looking fondly back on the eco-week that has past. Thus I will recap the week’s articles, and if you are even lazier than I am, you can just read Saturday’s posts and get the MTV soundbite version of everything I’ve covered for that week.

So let me see…
I talked about Elsom organic jeans, shamelessly plugged my other blog, www.thegreenbeauty.com, talked about how awesome The Oko Box eco-boutique is, showed my love for the Buddah with Buddah bandanas made from hemp, gushed about Meadow’s clothes and eco-friendly swim suits, encouraged pandas to diet and people to wear clean underwear with Panty Boo, tried to get people to start wearing eco-friendly fanny packs by Livity Outernational, and called the guy from Partybots (who could probably kick my ass) a nerd. And that just brings us to Wednesday.

On Thursday I partied with Sublet clothing in New York (in my head- really I was sitting on my couch here in LA, writing) and ordered a handbag from Salvation Sacks because I can’t talk about how cool a designer is without talking myself into getting something from them. And then I covered Cee Cee Was Here recycled bottle cap handbags and Environgentle t-shirts which are funny and weird.

Phew. Done.

See you Monday.

Be Environgentle With It

ENVIRONGENTLE

I like these guys. They’re kinda weird. They have a t-shirt that just says “Mexican Food” on it, but it’s made from a hemp and organic cotton blend. “Tell ‘em what you like to eat by wearing it on your shirt.” They confuse me in their post post-modern simplicity, but I don't mind it.

Oh, and they have organic cotton plain white v-necks, which are totally hot.

You wear what you eat:
